One of the first sites to have StarCraft 2 in their lists is none other than GameStop. The game is available to pre-order here with release date set to the 10/1/2008.
The price you would have to pay is $49.99 , but this information is still not final nor official. Fans can now choose to pre-order or wait until Blizzard confirms an exact date of release. Though there is nothing stated about a Collector's Edition so some die-hard gamers may choose to hold their rush. For now it seems the game is only pre-ordable on GameStop but in time other famous merchant sites will surely add the game as an available soon.
